Missions – Can they be achieved?

We need to understand clearly that the mission field is an interesting place to experience the journey with the Lord. Mission work is extremely glorious work and whoever gets into missions can attest that they have not been disappointed, though it is not as easy task as walking in the park.

The mission field is a great place to experience the presence of God; the provision, protection and the unconditional love of the father. As Oswald J. Smith said, “The mission of the church is missions.” Missions are great because the father has ordained the gateway by which souls are restored to the father and missions are easy to fulfill because this is the mission of missions – that souls will be rescued to God and that the father, through his unfailing and unwavering heart will shine the light upon His people, assuring the forgiveness of sins and offering a new Spirit to all that accept to receive Him. This is true in particular,  that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, but how then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Rom. 10:13-14). “Lost people have an opportunity and the grace to receive the father and this can only be achieved when people that have been called to missions will accept the calling and step ahead, receiving the courage that wherever their feet will step will be blessed and that blessed and beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things. (Rom 10:15).
