God prepared Ron to develop leaders through the avenue of NEXT through various corporate and ministry positions. Through his 15+ years of experience in student ministry in the local church, his undergraduate degree in youth ministry and his seminary education, Ron has experience and training in missions, evangelism and working with students and student pastors.

Ron is passionate about discipling students and helping them understand how to live a life “on mission.” His desire is to see them bring glory to God through their lives and impact their generation. At NEXT Worldwide, Ron is able to live out this passion. Working at NEXT allows Ron to use his natural gifting through teaching and training students, pastors and leaders, and leading mission trips while fulfilling the passion God has given him to see students transformed by the power of God.

Ron and his wife Keri have three children. He is passionate about serving his family and knows there is no greater task or responsibility than to be a godly example for them.”

From Perspectives: Ron grew up in Charlotte, NC but has spent time serving churches as a Student Pastor in SC, LA and KY. He currently lives in Roanoke, TX with his wife and three children. He received his degree in Student Ministry from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, before finishing up a seminary degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ron now serves as the Director of Missions for NEXT Worldwide in Flower Mound, TX. He has led over 45 short-term mission trips to 10 countries sent out by NEXT both domestically and internationally. In addition to mobilizing and leading short-term teams, he is involved in training and equipping pastors and leaders in these countries.
